CONNECTIONSAZ

Connectionsaz

When someone needs mental health or substance abuse help, they need it right away. They don’t have time to wait long hours in the emergency room or wait weeks to see a psychiatrist.

ConnectionsAZ’s specialized crisis and substance use treatment centers provide immediate access to treatment and careful transitions to the right level of ongoing care. Our services include Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for substance use and a Transitions program for people requiring time-limited behavioral healthcare.

Our Programs

ConnectionsAZ Crisis Centers are for patients who need immediate psychiatric care. Our patients see a behavioral health provider, receive a psychiatric evaluation, medication management and social work services the same day. We also provide transitional care during the time it takes until patients find a permanent psychiatrist who can help with a long-term treatment plan.

Substance Use Treatment Centers help patients start the road to recovery by building them an individualized treatment plan based on their needs, and offering additional services – such as mental health care and social work services. In most cases, patients receive Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and one-on-one care to begin the journey to sobriety.

CXNS health strategies

The consulting division of Connections Health Solutions, CXNS Health Strategies helps organizations provide high-quality behavioral health care that is safe, accessible, and effective.

We partner with healthcare organizations and communities across the country, offering comprehensive behavioral health consultation services that maximize access, quality of care, and reimbursement for people with psychiatric and substance use needs. Our team has extensive experience across a wide variety of clinical settings, patient populations, and markets to make the most efficient use of available resources.

How It Works

Most consulting engagements with CXNS begin with a one- to two-day on-site assessment. Our team meets with key stakeholders, which may include executive leadership, clinical and operational managers, and partners such as law enforcement. We also spend significant time with front-line staff and observing workflows. The result is an assessment report that provides an overview of our findings, feedback in specific areas and recommendations for improvement. We may also assist in creating and implementing action plans to address these recommendations, and continue to provide support in an advisory role.

What We Offer

  • Turnaround management and new program implementation
  • Strategic planning, operational design, and process excellence
  • Data, quality, and financial analytics
  • Regulatory, compliance, and ongoing quality improvement
  • Facility design
  • Consultative site visits
  • Education and outreach
